Does anyone else find themselves easily affected by their dreams? I find that if I have a bad dream it can put me in a bad mood all day that is near impossible to break out of. I am very much affected by my dreams, and I find myself to be quite sensitive to them. Two nights ago I dreampt I was sitting in the back of a courtroom. Up front was the woman who I loved immensely (a woman who I've never met or known in person) and the judge at the front ruled that her two children be taken away from her, why I do not know. Afterwards her and I got on a city bus and she told me that I once told her, "I fucking hate your kids." Which I knew for a fact that I never had. We took the bus out into this very gloomy, empty desert and the sky was somewhat dark and ominous. We got off the bus and just stood there and we kissed a few times and she was very quiet and sad. I woke up the next morning in a very sombre mood that I was unable to shake all day. Anyone find their mood easily affected by their dreams?

I think sometimes I feel the affect of a dream when I wake up, like I'll feel like maybe I had a not so good dream. But I have a hard time remembering dreams.

I rarely find myself too affected by dreams. I hardly ever have dreams that I consider in the dream to be bad or upsetting.

I do remember once though, I had a dream that I was in a fight for my life, and the person I was protecting. It went on for a while, and basically, I brutally killed about 10 people with a knife, and on the last guy, as I plunged my knife into his heart, my vision followed the blade into his heart, and I experienced his last moment of life, and I felt the last beat of his heart.

I woke up after that dream, feeling as though I had actually just killed someone, and it lingered in the back of my mind for the rest of the day. But other than that one time, I'm rarely affected by dreams. My dreams are normally just plain weird and crazy funny shit happens in them.

Lunarverse, if I had the dream that you mentioned, it would definitely affect me for a while. Most of my dreams are just so bizarre and funny that it's more typical for me to just have to tell someone about it.

yes, i'd say i occcasionally get a dream that affects my mood and is hard to shake off for a while... usually the horrific ones are the culprits... i can't remember ever wanting to shake off a feel-good dream... in those cases i am pissed off that i woke up only to find it was a dream...
