http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2007/03/01/neclipse01.xml I'm going to try to take some shots of it. Sounds like it should be a good one, an orange moon - dig it man
Wow I have to promise myself not to get too excited as it's always rather cloudy here when an eclipse rolls by. But there's some blue sky out there at the minute with only scattered cloud forecast!
its incredible, puts you in touch with the amazing and awe inspiring universe we live in...she looked like a bizarre bauble floating in the sky, spherical rather than plane circular. wow
Next you'll be saying she's made of blue cheese It is very pretty though, looks a bit like Mars (not made out of chocolate!)....
You want me to ask a dog? Deary me, you've been staring at the moon too long, probably quite a few lunars out tonight....
hehe it is funny what happens when you stare at something too long, like if you say one word over and over and over. i was like...the moons floating upwards??? oh no, im swaying! lol
i'm so glad it's quite dark where i live. i watched it from just outside of my flat. was really cool to watch it just get eaten up by the night sky, and turn crazy colours...at one point it was just a dark grey, and it make me think of Echo & The Bunnymen's "The Killing Moon"...i sang that song for about six hours in my head...
I went up to the hill fort outside town with some friends. Really cool sight. There was a whole bunch of people 'round a bonfire playing drums, guitar, fiddle and of course a didge Really enjoyed it. If any shots come out I'll post them up.
Shit guys.... I was only aware of the eclipse this morning.... Call me slow.. I saw the moon last night, it was brighter than ever, it did something to my mind. I was euporic as fuck and it came from nowhere.. And in my dream last night I was presented with a full orange moon... Freaky shit, I'ma cut down on the psychs.
Aye it was canny sweet like. We just sat out in the garden, spliff and a cup of tea. T'was very nice. We did give up on it after a bit though. We watched as it got darker, then for at least 20mins once it was dark, then went back in. I had another look out after another 30mins or so and it looked the same. How long was it before it got brighter?
