I've been familiarizing myself with Edwards' platform and record on women's reproductive rights...and I really like what I'm learning. He has a long record of fully supporting women's right to reproductive choice. http://www.rhrealitycheck.org/blog/2007/12/21/john-edwardss-reproductive-health-questionnaire
yeah, no kidding. nice to see such a completely unambiguous stance on the subject, instead of the flipflopping we so often see.
That's maybe the one good thing about him. Pro-death penalty, pro-prayer in public schools, anti-drug. Obama's voting record on abortion is just as impressive as Edwards', and he opposes the death penalty, wants to keep prayer out of public schools, and takes a neutral stance toward the legalization of drugs (wants to let states decide). I'm glad he dropped out.
I think Edwards dropped out to throw support toward Obama for super Tuesday, once it became apparent that he wouldn't win.
