Anyone dig Electric Wizard? They are definitely my favorite metal band. Well, Wizard and Sabbath. Anyone who likes Black Sabbath or doom metal should like Electric Wizard. They picked up where Sabbath left off with Sabotage.
Love 'em! So incredibly heavy and drugged out, how could you not? Their guitar/bass tone is magical, it makes you wonder if they made a deal with Satan himself to get such a sound. I've been trying to figure it out for years and I still haven't come close.
Thats so true. I often wonder if they sold their souls for their sound too. Definitly the heaviest band in the universe!

I saw them live a couple of years ago when I was more into their music. I still enjoy most of their stuff before 2004 and am just not too familair with their latest albums... When I feel in the mood for some heavy doom/extreme sabbath inspired music I rather go for Sleep - Dopesmoker/Jerusalem.
Love them. I love jamming along to stoner metal. I can solo over Sleep's Jerusalem for hours and never get bored.
I like two of their songs. Solarian 13 and Night of the Shape Is Night of the Shape about Halloween? It reminds me of that movie..
Yeah Electric wizard is one of my favorites i got on my ipod i blast it deliverin pizza all the time.

Solarian 13 off of Come on my Fanatics is a superior track to listen to loudly on your subwoofers while rollin through the hood. Electric Wizard has always been, and still is a great band, but their early stuff is where it's at. Personally, in my world, I've been listening to a lot of Colour Haze lately, "stoner" (not really a fan of the term for a music genre) rock from Germany.
