    How does Emerson Lake and Palmer pass off as first rock supergroup, after Crosby Stills Nash in 1969??

    Greg Lake - King Crimson
    Chris Palmer - Crazy World Of Arthur Brown & Atomic Rooster


    but I think of Cream as the first supergroup (and one of the few that do not suck)....followed by The Dirty Mac ;)
