Ugh, it sucks. My periods are so painful to the point that I cannot function. Now it has gotten worse. I have pain when ovulating and while having sex. I'm getting laparoscopic surgery. Has anyone gone through this? If so, what is the recovery like?
I had a laparoscopic surgery. They did not find endometriosis, but some polyps instead. They zapped those with a laser and my periods got so much lighter and better. The recovery is nothing. Just the first day when you get home. I recall that after that procedure, and also after the old DNC's they used to do, I had terrible gas pains - all the way up under my collar bones because the inflate your uterus during the procedure. If they can remove anything, you will feel so much better every month that the little recovery makes the whole thing worth while. Good Luck. Feel Better! :grouphug: It was cool because they made a video of the surgery and I got to see the whole thing with the little camera being inside me.
I got a laproscopy done yesterday. my Fallopian tubes were clogged and stuff was found on my ovaries. glad that is over. hopefully the pain is gone for good!
