Hi, Im in Australia and having been getting Endone (oxycodone 5mg) for back back pains. I have just found a new doc and he is saying i have to go to a pain clinic and get authorisation to be able to get endone on a contiuing basis, the doc i saw before never had to get authority to get it, is this normal does anyone know? Also, hes said he can get me 2 packs of endone a month, at this stage my back is really sore and i take about 4 per day (sometimes i dont need to take any for a month, the dr has said that not good though, he thinks i should take it reguarly, does that sound weird?) Anyway i want to get a higher strength oxcodone tablet, does anyone know what drs usually give out IN AUSTRALIA, which is up from endone?, i mean the brand name? , i dont want one with paracetamol in cause im allergic to that, i guess i want one which is a tab of about 40mg of oxy in each pill. He also made me sign some voluntary release, to release my PBS info for the last 6 months, i didnt really want to do this, is this the usual procedure? Thanks.
