well, I'm about 35 -40% Irish and I am going to either England or Wales this summer for 6 months on a rugby scholarship. But I have lived in the U.S. all my life, If weed was legal in all of Europe you guys win

I've lived in Europe and the States (I'm American).

let me tell you: most Europeans who have never been here think they understand America and Americans, and... most of them really don't. but then I'm from New York and don't really understand America either.

and Dark Side Of The Moon is fucking played out and not really even that great. gimmicks, gimmicks, sound effects and generic "cerebral" 70's arena rock.

although i know america has given the world some prtty kick ass music.

 

don't get me wrong, I loved it when I was 16. I just like more authentic experimental music now.

 

okay, but I'd say Brooklyn alone has put out more interesting and forward-thinking music this decade than the entire UK.

of course I'm not part of the London or whatever scene, I'm sure you guys have cool underground stuff too.

 

and in the 90's, I'd say Scotland put out more music I like than England.

 

honestly.. who fucking cares? each area of the world has it's load of genius and madness, obesity and anorexia.. fat-ugly people and hot motherfuckers.

I have had the luck to live in a lot of different places and mainly Europe and the U.S (different parts of it, too) and.. Europe isn't that much different from America. What do you think white americans are anyways? Europeans.

 

And I hate scenes.

I just like what I like, wherever/whoever it's from isn't gonna affect my opinion.
