ever meet people who trip, but don't do rc's / synths?

Just tripped me out when I offered someone some 2ce free, cause I just wanted to spread a little love to someone I knew could work with it, and they turned me down even though I'm fairly certain they trip on mushies and L.

weird.

nyone else know people who will touch mushies or L but no RCs?

 

yeah ive met people like that, I think its mostly cuz they are uneducated on RC's, or maybe they just like to stick to those 2 because more is known about them?

 

They just don't know what they are man... I have come across maybe 4 people who actually know what RC's are, 1 has ordered them before and sold them, 1 knows what they are and like to take them, the others know about them but don't know exactly what they are..

Everyone knows what LSD and mushrooms are, but most ppl don't seek information about drugs.

 

I know only a few people who know about RCs.
A few have taken 2ce, one has taken 2ci, a couple have done DMT but other than that I only know one person that knows as much about them as myself.

For some unknown reason my uncle sees shit when he takes ibuprofen. I had to actually take him to the hospital twice. He had to stay for a couple of days the first visit but they couldn't find out what was the problem. He's the type of guy who hates meds but he had a severe migraine on both occasions.

 

I only do shrooms, would consider others, but wouldn't just take them without researching it.

 

I also try to educate ppl about RC's and they just don't get it. It's all gibberish to them. There is no one I know in person that knows more about them than I do.. And I don't expect to really find anyone who does. But it would be nice.

I know there was someone selling 5-meo-dmt at one of the festivals last year, but I never got to meet him and have a chat. Maybe he will be around this summer

I felt kind of dirty, like my drugs weren't "good enough" even as a free offer. LOL, probably something I'll have to just get over.

Then again, it's hard to get into too long of a conversation sometimes. I always feel like I'll offer up a name of something to someone I know likes tripping, but leave it up to them I guess to get the gusto to at least type it into google a read about it for a minute.

Maybe it's just us "drug nerds" or whatever we/y'all/us call ourselves who are into that kind of thing, like the research is a drug in itself? I'm always curious. Even now someone mentions something, even in casual passing, i have to go look it up. just to see.

*shrug* and I'm starting to think despite "all the drugs" it appears a lot of here do, there aren't that many people that i'd seriously worry about. Some of it pops my eyes open (100mg 2ce? 10 strips of blotter? alright, y'all way more experienced than I), but it seems like it's more a community of people who are smart about their drug use... at least most of us!

And as for our drugs not being good enough, I would much rather weigh out my dose of pure product than buy some unknown substance that is hit or miss off the streets.. I mean, most "LSD" is something else sold as LSD, mushrooms are hit or miss unless you grow them. I would much rather dose 2cp over LSD if I didn't know the source or quality.

You shouldn't feel like that. Different strokes for different folks is all.

 

Educate yourself about these things so you can educate your friends. When you know what you're talking about with RCs you can cure people's anxieties about them.

 

I smoked some potheads up on JWH 018 and they started telling people that they smoked PCP with me, after I fully explained what it was before I dosed them:banghead:

Besides people that I've given RC's to i've never met anyone who knew what they are.

 

I don't find it that odd.
1) Most people have never heard of these random drugs that combine Numbers and letter which does sound kind of intimidating and many people don't like ingesting random chemicals. (Let's leave purity issues of well known drugs aside)
2) These drugs are research chemicals with a limited amount of knowledge about their effects. Mushrooms have been with us for thousands of years and while LSD has not been around that long, there have been way more people who have used it. So even if you do research these, you still may find the relatively limited amount of data and history a turn off.

To answer the question, my best friend does mushies and tried LSD but has not touched the RC's. I offered 2ce and explained it's effect to him, he didn't seem to thrilled about it.

 

I gave someone some Moxy and they didn't know wtf it was, same with 5-meo-dmt. Moxy dude was cool, 5-meo dude will never take anything from me again. He said he died, I said, that's what is supposed to happen... Duh..

I'm trying to get more ppl into them. I dosed my semi educated friends on 2cp, that's the 1 who had bad effects..

I've used a couple pseudonyms for 2ci and 2ce cause i'm clever like that and it seems to get people more interested, but it's giving me a bad feeling at the same time and reminding me of people in the 80's calling a chemical named MDMA by the street name of 'ecstasy'?

it's called "the naturalistic fallacy". i have a friend who says "if it doesn't grow, then just say no". i understand his reasoning but i CLEARLY have a different view

 

So then that guy doesn't even do LSD? He's missing out.

 

LSD is not natural though? Furthering the op's point, most people i know will do LSD and munch down ecstasy pills like they are m and m's but will not touch 2ci, 2ce or whatever.. I think it more has to do with unfamiliarity with the substance.

The only thing I find truly odd about my friends not doing them, is they would rather munch on some unknown quality ecstasy bought from a dealer just trying to make a buck then take something a friend has of good quality.
