I used to shoplift when I was like, 14 and 15 years old. I had the same strategy for every store, which worked every time. I was only caught once, but it was by my mother who overheard me talking to a friend about my little escapade. She actually brought me back to the store with the stuff and made me apologize. She also told them to feel free to call the cops, which they didn't. They only banned me from the store. I have not stolen anything since I was maybe 16. I just think it's wrong and I would not want to risk being caught and arrested over somthing so stupid such as a pair of pants or a shirt.

I work as a stockboy in a grocery store, where most of my working time is spent in the backroom surrounded by all types of delicious food. Fuck, I live off of what I steal from there.

I steal food and snacks from CVS and Crossroads all the time. I would stop but, it's so fuckin' easy. The best was one time me and a friend were walkin' home from school passin' a fuckin' Sunoco with a Coke stock truck in front of it. The side was open so we take 2 boxes and run like fuck. A cop was sittin' right there and we don't think he even started chasin' us.

I accidentally stole some incense from the mall once. I forgot that I was holding them amongst many other things and when I got to the food court I realized I had taken them. lol.

I was at a cd shop once and I was having an asthma attack (great place huh?!) so I sat down in the back of the store by a box of posters to catch my breath and chill out. I looked at the posters to pass the time so I just wouldn't sit there and weeze, and I found a really cool Robert Plant one that was ON SALE FOR $1. I was planning on buyin it, but amongst my panting and weezing I put it in my big bag trying to remember to pay for it. I completely forgot about it. 2 days later I looked in that bag and saw the poster. *Shrugs* It was only a dollar... I don't think the store is gonna go under for me taking $1 worth of paper...

Lol, when I was like 10 I put in a quarter and nothing came out, so i hit the machine and like 5 dollars worth of quarters spilled out... being 10, I of course spent them all on prizes from the other toy machine that worked.

I always steal from stores, its such a rush. I wouldnt steal from small stores, only chain stores that overprice. I counted up all the things and realize i have about 1000 dollars worth of merchandise in my room.

These are some pretty weak replys. I thought for sure there'd be some good stories. I always stole from work. Well, when I worked in restaurants or variety stores. So much good stuff, and nobody looked after it properly. i never stole money, but alot of my friends did, and we're not bad people. The reality was that people higher up in the chain of command stole alot more, so if something was off, they would figure it was them who fucked up.

Anyway, when I was about 10, me and my brother broke through the roof of a candy shack at a little league baseball park (by mistake), but once we realized we could get in, we went back in the middle of the night and ransacked the place. That's pretty bad stealing from a little league park. But the worst park is that this past summer one night I was really drunk with my friend walking around the baseball park, and I mentioned to her that I had done this years ago, and we decided to check it out again. Sure enough, a side door was open, and one good kick to the wall pushed it right off (didn't even break it, it just came off). So, once again, the place was ransacked. We felt kinda dumb the next morning considering we didn't even really want the candy. But I had free Powerade for a month.

I've never stolen anything from a store, but when I was 13, I "stole" some tampons from my friend's mother's cupboard when I was staying at their house, because I was too embarrased to actually ask for one. I had just started my period a few months before and I was too embarrased about the whole thing to buy tampons for myself. My mum had to buy them for me for about a year. :D

Hah.. me too. We had the reclaim section where all the damaged grocery items
would get shelved for "credit" or whatever. Who cared?
As a part time grocery clerk, it wasn't my problem.

Most of what ended up on the reclaim shelves was simply the result of packaging that got nicked by the box-cutter. So if your break was coming up and you had the munchies, or you saw something that looks tasty... "whoops... I nicked the box with my cutter"...and that was lunch.

Produce was like a fresh-fruit buffet. We had strawberry fights, stuffed bananas in our pants and snacked constantly.

Dairy... those chocolate bar flavored milkshakes and YOPs rarely made it to the shelves.

// agh.. scissor tongue girl... that makes me queasy. stop it!!
(better that than posing like as if to cut off a nipple or a nose, but STILL.. eagh...!)
