The brain, being the maker of consciousness, filtering the way you see the world and all that good stuff. with that being said, ever think that everything in the physical world is just a representation of something, like your best friend is a represntation of qualities you really like ini people, you enemy the things you hate, its all just constructs of your brain. idk how to put it but thats what i got so far.
Well, the brain isnt really the maker of conciousness, it is more of a receiver and processor. At least in my opinion. And I think all physical material is a pale reflection of the spiritual plane
i think about how limited our sensory systems are all the time. i don't even know what i can call "real" anymore.
Love is real man. Maybe not from others, you cant really trust anyone, but if you yourself can experience love, that is very real. I know what you mean, but I tend to believe in what I see as real. Reality is subjective, but to me, mine is real
you mean, if everything we experience on a physical level is simply a symbolic archetype? my best friend is actually a representation of (universally understood) companionship and loyalty? and instead of percieving it in a symbolic way, my mind constructs an elaborate reality in which to reveal these archetypes to me? yea i get that thought sometimes. maybe these constructs represent the challenges of the spirit, but ones which must be overcome by the flesh. if that's what you mean, then i'm diggin it, but if you're talking about something else entirely, ignore.
thats exactly what i am saying. thankyou man. me and a friend got mindfucked when we were talking bout this., cause we couldnt put it into words, so thanks alot.
I dont know if my reality is real.. is it? Maybe if I could perceive more, I could perceive my real reality (redundant I know) but with what you say about love, I know exactly how that feels, I know I love a person and it feels good to love and I know its real, I sometimes wish the receiver of all that love could crawl inside me and see how it feels for me, to love him... but then i think hh wait he's already is (and that's not real ).. all Im trying to say is we make our own reality and we are in a constat discovery, adding new things to it and removing some? can you really remove anything from your reality, I think not, you can try but it all leaves a stain. wow, that was a lot of rambling.
just a thought ive wanted to share, but yeah i fucking wonder about reality and if there even is reality haha.
yeah.. i always think of that kind of thing,,.... sometimes i think its only me that exists and i always think of something that i think no one on the earth can think of, but its hard to put in words and when i get really stoned, i know exactly what life is... does anyone else think its just pattens? and like infitity
Some people believe that the world exists only in their own mind, meaning that they are the only true force of life in the universe (or ever to be conceived). This is known as Solipsism [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solipsism_syndrome]. Check out the link... maybe you ARE the only being in existence...
i'm not sure what i think about all this, but you really got me thinking, about things i've never thought about before,
Reality is God's COsmic Dream Think about it are our own dreams real? I mean, we can feel in them, we can breathe, we can create life and death, so, are they real? We are a vibration known as Om WE are a storm on the beach of God's essence, the Knower and the Kown
I strongly believe that they are, but before you dreamed them were they real? What were they before you brought them to existence? IF they didn't exist previously than are you changing the web of conciousness by creating a new idea, implying that the quality of mind can alter the universal conciousness, what I believe to be "God", or does it simply become aware of such ideas and does not create them? I need some time to think
Well as someone said, The Mind recieves things and interprets them. No one knows what things really are outside of the Mind. The world could be absolutely nothing, but is interpreted by the mind to be what we see around us.
