Everyone knows how to do something really well, and could teach a class at a University, Elementary School, High School, Business School, Trade School, etc. If everyone was expected to teach a class at a chosen establishment, What class would you be able to teach ??? I could teach......... Elementary crochet and sewing .
everyone is a teacher, albeit not in a school environment, but in life..we pass on our knowledge through our everyday lives.. i would probably teach psychology/philosophy. possibly english, i seem to have a good grasp on the language i was given, although that is a debatable subject.
I don't know that I'm particularly GOOD @ this (but I do make the very best attempts I can). This is something I think our whole world could RELEARN - so I would teach an elementary class called "Personal Responsibility", geared toward instilling in today's kids something that their parents MAY or MAY NOT be adequately instilling - a sense of one's healthy boundaries, rights, and responsiblities (to themselves, to others, to animals, to the world, to the universe). If that class was taught - I'd love to be part of it.
I will be a teacher some sunny day, probebly High School (11th and 12th grades), and then on to being a college professor. I would honestly rather like to be the king of the world, but my mother says that I have to set more realistic goals. Subject-vise... probebly English or Psychology. Might just study psychology by itself, and say fuck it.
I would hate to be an English teacher. I fucking hate English classes. But note this: I love literature. Poe is one of my all-time favorites. Now, the thing I enjoy about independent reading as opposed to reading for classes is that you can enjoy the story in your own way instead of trying to grasp the story as the interpreters tell you to. It seems so antithetical to the whole fucking point of writing. I will concede it to be an indispensability, however. English class is fairly important. I would like to teach what I find to be the most interesting and fun subject they'll offer you in school: Physics! Chemistry is close.
I like it! Everything would be open-ended. No answers are wrong; points are deducted by not supporting one's position.
I really think this is a very important class for the whole world to take seriously. "Personal Responsibility" is probably the most important subject to learn at any age,(especially effective at a elementary level), and if we all excelled in the class, we could help make the earth a better place to live. I think you could make an excellent teacher. I can tell by just reading 2 of your posts. I would love to hear more of your "thoughts from thin air."
I am seriously considering getting my masters and teaching at the upper level.... if i taught grade school, i would teach art, social studies/history, or english. at a collegiate level, I want to teach art history you can ask anyone who knows me...i know a lot of random shit and facts, and i love sharing it with people who are willing to listen to me ramble on
yeah me too i was talking with one of the chicks that was here last night, just rambling on about random stuff linking it all back together to form some kind of valid point, albeit was hard to make a valid point after last night i still did a good job at it, i'm too good at bullshiting... so many people here would be english teachers, write on!
Oooooooh...So that's the reason you're so fucking illiterate...Makes sense now. I would teach English in Comprehensive school, or in University or College.
oh, hi meh nemesis, ever learn my teaching yet? an grow that pigfuzz into ah individual statement uv your higher identity?
drama, voice and diction, voice (singing), psychology, comparative religion, mythology and other esoteric subjects teaching is such a rewarding feeling - whether done in a formal setting, or simply helping to guide/enlighten others in daily life
Having long hair doesn't make you an individual, you mong! The content of your character does. Hair is just material, and only a materialistic person would think that their hair makes them an individual.
