Who still exercises much? I did when I was training heavily, then I let myself get out of shape. Around September I'm going to Thailand for 5 months to train, so It's time to get back in shape. Yesterday I went for a 3.5 mile jog, and I was like, eh, this as easy as when I was in shape. Fell asleep, and today, my legs are killing me. Theres probably a moral there, but I don't know what it is.
i started back up then fell out again, i'm gonna be starting back up again after my week away wiht Lucky... i'm paying for a gym membership...so gonna use that...and then i'm gonna use the beach for GPP type stuff and i have a sandbag that can easily get up to 120lbs, but its at 80 right now and the workouts i use with it are pretty brutal. last time i was in the gym i was doing deadlifts with 266 pounds and had the bright idea of doing 'Waterbury Walks" with that weight. yea so, you deadlift the weight, walk 2 steps forward and rack the bar, then wait 1 second, then unrack the bar and walk back 2 steps and thats 1 rep that was a killer workout so i'm only gonna use the gym for strength training...everything else will be at the beach or track
My exercise routine consists of 8 hours of work... I walk a good 10-20 miles a day on average, and lift a whooooole lot of heavy shit. You should see my biceps... I swear... my arm got twice as big in a couple of months.
i do pilates because im so hardcore i have to start doing more to get in better shape so ill look half way decent at the beach. ive lost little weight because ive been sick but i need to get toned
And twice as sex. I need to get my flexibility back more then anything. I'm about as strong as I was before I stopped exercising much, but I'm about as flexible as a gorilla scratching it's ass.
i've also been doing a lot of prehab/rehab stuff for my right shoulder and right knee, and left ankle... lots of joint mobility work and fixing muscle firing problems is key too. lots of foam rolling problem areas....
Well I'm a dancer/dance teacher so I work out like every day for 2 hours at the least. And I also play tennis, soccer, and softball, and those are all quite a bit of a workout as well.
I've been lucky doing all the lethwei. All the pad work with the knees and ankles has probably exercised the tendons enough I feel mine could take about anything though. Had some shoulder problems though, but nothing that didn't go away.
I haven't worked out in probably a year now. I was working out a lot when I was on house arrest and got pretty cut again, but as soon as I was free, I fell off.
Dancing is rocking exercise. I love it. I like playing soccer a lot too. That'd only take care of my arobeics, but it's still good exercise. I should start swimming more. It feels like fun, which isn't true about running. At least not for me. I always have to talk myself into running.
This guy flagged me down the other day asking for a buck for the bus, so I gave it to him. I asked him where this place was, and he was like, it's your best bet taking a bus, cause if you walk it'll take you a half hour. Pft, like I'm that busy. It was only twenty minutes. Americans are afraid of walking.
I lift every other day at Bally's. I need to do aerobic type exercise like jogging and yoga again but I don't like to spend more than an hour in the gym, and jogging on a treadmill isn't near as interesting as out in nature.
I'm bad. I'll go running maybe a few saturdays a month and that's about it. I sit at a desk most of the day too so I really should do more. I'm a bit lazy.
I exercise anywhere from 30-60 minutes a day, 7 days a week. Power walking/jogging mainly, but a lot of cardio dancing too. And of course, chasing after three kids, playing ball in the yard, scaling the playgrounds with them, taking them on bike rides. I get lots of exercise in the warmer months!
Definitely. Since the weather has been so beautiful here, you couldn't get me anywhere near my treadmill! It's too beautiful to be stuck inside exercising, I want to be outside getting my exercise!
exercise is what you get when you're doing something else that involves physical effort. like walking to the grocery store instead of driving to the spa. =^^= .../\...
