Hey guys. I'm in the fruiting stage of the whole cultivation process and lately ive noticed that my cakes ( 2 in particular) have a bunch of extra mycelium that appears to be "bubbly". Sorry if thats vague description but it is a pretty good description of what it looks like. They have been in the FC for 4 days. I would greatly appreciate to know if this isn't good because I failed absolutely miserably my first attempt and i really want to make this work this time. Thanks
I'm haveing a similar problem with 1 of my cakes, It is getting this really fuzz cotteny stuff on it, but the mushrooms are still growing, but idk if the'll be safe being near that mold like stuff.....Come to think of it the mushrooms are only growing in 1 spot not on the whole cake like in most pictures..... J.C
