Has anyone else noticed how it is not beneficial in any way? If you watch the show, it is always about getting things that are not beneficial in any way, like one hundred bottles of hot sauce, for example. Who needs that many bottles of hot sauce? Who needs hundreds of a single item like powerade?

I could understand if a variety of food through couponing costs nothing in the end, but that is never the case. Extreme couponing should be called a waste of time.

nothing wrong with having 100 bottles of powerade if you drink it. the thing is that most of the stuff that you can get for those prices are things that nobody wants, uses, or needs.
my view is if you arent saving the money that you make at work then your time might be better off spent somewhere else.
that reminds me of christmas sales. if you have to stand in line for an hour to save $10 and you make more than $10 an hour then you really didnt save money.

I have a few friends that do it. It seems ridiculous to me too. If I get a good coupon once in a while I will use it. Other than that, I don't need 200 rolls of TP. I'm fine paying for a regular amount of TP like a regular person.

All I know is, if you see someone at the checkout with a book of coupons - do not get behind them in line.
And maybe pass a pity beer to the poor cashier on your way out of the store.

That seems to be an American thing. Coupons aren't really that great here, and if you do get one you would use, it's only for one item.

I use the coupons that I get for the wholesale store.

Saving $4 on a $24 pack of toilet paper DOES make a difference in my house. Especially when its for 36-40 rolls of it :D

I don't know if it is beneficial. It might be for the woman who only has $30 - a month - to spend on food. It's also probably a bit much to pass down your skills to your child before he goes to college.

This is funny. I'd not heard of this show before. If it's anything like the other 'extreme' shows then I bet there are a lot of "whooping :afro:" and "Hell yeah's :2thumbsup:".

Almost every coupon I've ever seen is for shit I don't use.

I dunno, hot sauce is a lot of vinegar, it's probably good for a few years, seems like a bunch of it might be a reasonable thing to buy. I'm a cheapskate so I can appreciate it, but no, if I had the kind of time to waste on that, I'd probably find a second job or something.

I tried clipping coupons once, but it was all for junk food I don't ever eat. You never see coupons for vegetables or unprocessed foods.
