Ok, well i searched for it and was surprised not to find anything about it. but i dont know about anyone else here, but this is a game i have been waiting for over a year for, and its finally going to be coming out on October 21st. For those who dont know anything about this amazing game, or the concept of the Fable series at all, here is a breakdown of it. Fable 2 is the sequel to the hit RPG game for the Xbox originally dubbed Fable. its an Xbox 360 exclusive. and is a game based on choices. Everything you do in this game will effect the world around you in which you play. you can choose to be good or evil, greedy or pure, your choice. What you decide to do will determine how the characters in the game perceive you and will react accordingly. For instance, lets say you meet a group of traveling merchants in a camp along the road, and you decide to buy a few items from them. Later in the game you come back and their camp could have turned into a small town. Where as if you decided to kill them or hurt them in any way, that same area might be barren and desolate of any other person, only burned down/abandoned tents. Every person who plays this game will have a completely different world, because not every person is going to make the exact same choices. The basic story line of the game is this... your a young child with every possible opportunity available to you, life is good. Untill finally one day, everything drastically changes and it is snatched away from you in an instant. you find yourself homeless, family-less, and with no friends except a lonely puppy who will be your best friend for the rest of your life.....you grow up to be a hero and do heroic things, be they good, or bad. righteous or just plain evil. Either way, you decide. heres a quote from the devs "As you know everyone starts in Fable II as either a little boy or a little girl and will grow up to adulthood. You will change visually to reflect your choices and actions in the world of Albion but it doesn't end there...we now have so much more clothing (think masks, hats, …) all of which can be dyed (in pretty much any color), plus we have make-up, jewelry, hairstyles and facial hair plus all the many different morphs (like strength, fatness, skin color etc...) which will mean that each hero will be very unique. Taking every single thing into account that will influence what you look like, our programmers calculated a number that goes well and truly into the billions." First one was pretty entertaining. I do not really care for all those clothing options though, but what I did found a good detail is how you will get scarred in the progress of the game.
Agreed! But i still loved the first one though. Heaps of fun. And i'm pumped for this game, deffinate but for me, and i think it will take up a bit of my time! The idea of having the dog by your side for most of the game is an awesome one, and i think will serve to allow the player to be drawn into the more easily and allow for a more enriching experience. peace
Really, you couldn't find much about it? There are at least 6 or 7 long developer's journal type videos on Xbox Marketplace. I figured they'd be on the web, too. They're packed with sweet info.
I'm sure Fable 2 will be fantastic. I thought the first was a game quite like no other and simply loved it.
My birthday!? Fucking sweet. I've seen people online playing "Pub Games" in it, so I assume there's a demo downloadable on XBL at least. I haven't checked yet.
