honestly in this day and age of ID cards and government spying I really don't see that as being overly paranoid. all i can say is glad i don't have a Facebook.
Plus, you don't have to put all that information on it, like I don't have my school, my address, my home phone or cell phone on mine... because you know... I have people like Sal on my friends list.
Facebook's ok. It scared me at first because it told everyone on yuor friends list exactly what you'd been doing. But I've gotten over the Big Brotherness and have gotten back in touch with many people I haven't seen for a couple of years!
