i had to withdraw from 2 of my classes, and got C's in the other 2... I'm not going back next semester.

1st/2nd year college is easy as shit if you show up everyday.

i really slacked off and expected it to be like highschool. Didnt study enough, had trouble writing papers for one class and just gave up on it. Next quarter i need to buckle down and not waste my parents money.

I was always told the opposite. That first year is the hardest cause there trying to ween students out before they waste all there money. Teachers, second year, and third year students all told me this.

I guess it depends on the University.

i don't buy it. they won't try to keep you from wasting your money. they want you to spend as much money as possible, because they are a business, not some charity that is out there for your benefit. they don't need to make it hard to weed out the idiots anyway. a majority of students don't make it to the second year just because they don't go to class. i made it through, and it was ridiculously easy all four years, but the first year was by far the easiest. the only thing that got easier as i went along was that it was easier to schedule classes at more convenient times, which is important because attendance is basically all it takes to get good grades in college.

but yeah, it probably does depend some on the university

I got a D in math and I was doing bad in french so I skipped a test and went to drop the class but it was too late so I failed it, I just never showed up again because I couldnt get my grade up. I hate college.

i was going to gibbs college but it was a truly shitty school, no hands-on, just some guy reading powerpoint slides and im like "y'know i can read slides at home" then my last semester that i attended, in one of my classes the instructor just read word for word the chapter, that was the class, after a week i was like "fuck this" and dropped out, now i have to pay off my loans and then i can attend a worthwhile school in a field that isnt computers, just cuz i hate computers now
