My parents repeated the Communist Manifesto to me over and over again. It got pretty boring.

fairy tales are cool they always have a creepy undertone that would make me think, later in life i found out some of the 'original' stories aswell as the metaphors behind some of the stories... creepy stuff.

That episode of Springer where the chick hit her deadbeat husband over the head with a chair, and ran off with her crossdressing girlfriend. [IMG]

My favourite fairytale would be Adalminan Helmi (it's a story written by this Finnish author and in English the title would be Adalmina's Pearl).

My mum read me all the time when I was a kid. It was wonderful. She also made up all these little stories that she would then tell me. I loved them. :) Now she's writing detective stories and publishing them. Heehee.

I love fairytales :) I especially used to like Hansel and Gretel, Rapunzel, and the Little Mermaid. But the Little Mermaid oldschool story is A LOT different than the Disney version...the story is really quite scary.

My sister always told me I was adopted.....what a jerk!:D

I don't remember my parents ever reading to me. Or anyone but the teachers at school reading to me. How lame is that? But, I did read to myself, I have always loved Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. I also love The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
