do you mean prosthetics or shaved?

prosthetics: wonderful inventions that are really amazing. Some arms and hands detect temperature!

shaving legs: ugh. unless you are a cyclist or have a logical, rational reason for torturing your skin so.

My grandfather lost both his legs due to diabetes. His prosthetics enabled him to walk for a good four years after the amputations, which he and my family were surely grateful for. The advancements that have been made in the past 20 years have truly been wonderful for many people in this world.

I think theyre great if it means that someone can walk again! I also think they are great because it gives people a confidence that they may not otherwise have with a aluminium "leg"

Paul McCartney's new wife is actually doing something about this. She is an amputee and discovered that when she 'traded' up for a new leg, they threw away her old one. She has started an organization which recycles prosthetics and supplies children with them that have lost limbs. The focus is towards the many that lost a limb as the result of the never discussed enough issue of the millions of active land mines still in the ground throughout the world.

yea i know, thats what i meant, its terrible the way we live in a world, where young children can get their limbs blown off by land mines ( which have to do with the goddamn government affairs) and when it comes to getting hospital funds, or prosthetic limbs- no. do the governments help?

this world really needs some goddamn improvements.
