Why are people so fake in today's world? Does anyone have any idea regarding this? I am just so much obsessed with this fact that people are so much fake these days. Why do they tend to show off? I am sick and tired of trusting people and then being deceived. OMG, this world cannot be relied on but why is this so? I wish there was loyalty and fidelity in this world. :banghead:
Maybe people have always been fake. Maybe it has to do with technology. Maybe you're just getting older and wiser and realizing that people will let you down...and everyone is selfish. I've realized this over the years. I try my best to stay true to myself, and others.
There are genuine people out there man but you gotta look hard. Try not to be so disillusioned. Being self reliant is helpful, trust your own judgement and abilities to make decisions. I'm not saying don't interact with other peeps just - be selective! and if someone lets you down so what it's not the end of the world -move on - it's their loss
I totally agree when you say that I might be getting older and as I gain more and more experience from others, I realize that the world is so selfish. However, I do not understand the relationship between technology and fake attitudes of people. Would you like to elaborate on this? Plus I also see that almost all of us say that we always try being true to ourselves and others too. But then how come that so huge chunk of society is fake. I mean, I am not at all saying that you are fake; you might be among those rare individuals who are true to themselves as well as the society but the problem is that perhaps everyone thinks that he/she is true despite that in actuality, he/she is not.
I agree to your thoughts to much extent but how often would you like to trust people and then betrayed by them. I am not strictly talking about the huge issues but even the trivial ones. Why do people fool others by being fake all the time even if there are minor things to consider? Being selective definitely means that you find the selected individuals a bit more trusted as compared to the others but that hurts a lot more when such (selected) people betray you.
Some people just don't like who they are, so they have to be fake to make themselves seem better than how they feel they are.
Yes, this might be right in case of some people but why do they forget that doing this makes them even more bad in the eyes of others. It disturbs me a lot really.
Well, while in the school years you are still trying to figure out who you are and trying to fit in. So it get better the older you get. Don't worry high school doesn't last forever.
Maybe I meant that as a joke. Ya know, how some people just blame technology for things. Maybe technology has indeed actually made things worse though. People are not as personal as they used to be. Things can be done by just a click of a button now. Things people say online are sometimes fake. Even *reality* shows on TV are fake. Technology has made us more advanced, but maybe it also dehumanizes and desensitizes us. Unless you make a facebook page, then highschool lasts forever. Facebook sucks.
Because they don't think that they will ever get caught being fake. Also, some start to believe their fakeness so much, that they start to believe that it's truth.
Fake isn't a form of lying, it's a persona. Not sincere or genuine, but a show that you feel and think things that suit whatever situation you might be in...... like a chameleon. I see it as weak and simple minded. Popularity is self serving, and honesty is too hard for them.
First of all, 'modifying' yourself or showing off does not make a person fake by definition. Secondly, they forget or better said are not bothered by it because they don't see it as if they're faking and so they righteously don't see it as their problem, which is the case of course, it is your problem.
Fake sucks; totally agreed. There are people who are not fake but a very few ones, I believe. Wish there were many such people in my life who are not fake.
I blame it on the toxic media culture and the accessibility to said culture via TV, internet, cell phones, iPads etc. Most people immerse themselves so much in that shit that they lose track of what's real... if they had any concept of what real is to begin with. For most people, they never stood a chance of having an original thought or idea.
Those that get wrapped up in the "shit" of the world, likely did so without the fast paced media. In fact I know they did....I met some of them. Those that resist it, do so in the face of it seeming insurmountable.
fake people are there because it would be too expensive to pay someone to stand in your store and model clothing all day.
Lol, OMG, I actually love such fake people ^ :biggrin: The problem is that these fake people found in the stores do not hurt. The fake people found around you, in your life, are the ones who actually hurt a lot.
