I'm 21, mature, responsible. I like to party, but not as much as I used to. I'm a clean freak. And I hate people crashing at the house. I'm almost never there because I'm at my boyfriends, plus they're all pissing me off so much, I never want to even be there. My roomates are 19, 20, and 20, all girls. They're immature, irresponsible, always drunk. Two of them got fired (one arrested) for shoplifting at the stores they worked at. One lets her 28 year old boyfriend live in her bedroom. Here's more shit I put up with: -Letting people bring dogs over (against the lease.) Last time this happened, I cam home to dog turds everywhere. I was home alone. It stank. i couldn't stand it. I bought carpet cleaner and cleaned dog shit on my day off. -They never do dishes, clean, sweep, mop. NOTHING. I do it all. Call me Martha farking Stewart. -I steam clean the carpets once a week or so. If it weren't for me, our white-blue carpets would be shit. -I started locking my bedroom because I have the master. No point. They break into it and use my nice bathroom, take my towels. They're not even trying to be inconspicuous. -We use(d) my boyfriend's PS2 as a DVD player in the den. They always left it on, which is bad. I finally took it away and locked it in my room. It was back in the den that night when I came home. Again, obvious that they broke into my room, they just DON'T CARE. -I bought a key lock door knob for my bedroom, HA! Bought my own TV today, got the PS2. Now they want me to share my cable cords so they can use the VCR. -NO. -I came home from vacation yesterday. I was home alone, or so I thought. There was a dirty mutt ugly ass dog alone in the house with me. I was livid. I called the landlord, and now they're all mad at me. -I hate dogs in the house, and they don't mind, because they couldn't give a shit less about anything that isn't them. -They let the trash pile up in the kitchen till someone (me) gets so sick of the smell, so that I take it all down the street to the dumpster. -They leave socks, towels, panties, clothes, dishes, cups, ashtrays, and beer cans all over the den and never pick them up. -One left a cooler full of melted ice and food in so long, it rotted. I had to dump it out. -They like to live in filth and it's disgusting. I've lived with these girls before, but I don't know what's different this time. We lived in shitty apartments that I didn't care about, but now we have a nice house, I'm always mad. I do kind of over-react about some things, but I think it's everything balled up over time that makes me so mad all at once. They'll hardly talk to me, and you know what? I don't fucking care. They are so full of themselves and ignorant of others. They think I'm the bitch, I'm anal, I'm mean, and I'm out of line for calling the owner. Well, it's the only way it would get anything done. They'll never take my word into consideration, because they know eeeeverything. I may only be 1 and 2 years older than them, but I feel like a fucking MOTHER. Shit, if I were them, I wouldn't want to live with me. But then again I'm not a lazy, filthy, disgusting, dirty, ignorant kleptomaniac, so I guess I'll never know exactly what they're thinking is. *Headache*
I am. At the end of our lease. 4 more months. My boyfriend and I are moving in together! This is just a particularly hard week. He's gone visiting his family, so I actually have to spend time at home with these hellions.
that doesnt sound like a happy living situation. if i had to put up with that i would move out. I just moved in with 2 guys 19/20 last month, and its been going ok. I've done most of the house cleaning around here it feels like. But their pretty cool. hopefully things go better for you soon. maybe try a house meeting and talking to them...but from the sound of it, it sounds like its way beyond a talk to get them to shape up. edited: im slow. yay your moving out
Haha. I did that today! Didn't you read? I put a lock knob on my bedroom door and called my landlord about the dog thing. That's why they're all mad and not talking to me. I think I'll just adopt their way of thinking, and NOT GIVE A SHIT LESS about them anymore. It sucks cuz we're all 4 a tight group of friends. We have been for almost 2 years. This living situations is just tearing me apart from them, which is sad. Some friends you just can't live with.
No, I mean something like a deadbolt... a locking knob is very easy to bypass. Anyhow, yeah man... honestly... friendship can't be that one-sided. Just make sure not to alienate yourself from them too much, but... keep your room the way you like... hell, get yourself a microwave, a mini fridge, and an electric stove, and then you don't even have to get out of your room
I'm trying not to stress our relationship so much as to the breaking point, but they're making it really really hard. They've been good friends to me in the past, but as current roomates, they're terrible. I hate feeling like the bad guy in this situation, but I can only take so much.
move out before the lease ends i think something like this would terminate the lease between you guys. unless it is your name on the lease
