:sunny: We are organic farmers looking for a community of hippies. Currently living in OR, but it just rains TOO MUCH here for us. Ideally, we seek a drier climate with 4 real seasons, some mountains nearby, and a group of people we can grow food & medicinal herbs for who will appreciate what we can do. For all the hype about OR being a hippie haven, we just haven't found it here. Mostly, we find rednecks and tattoo/fetish video gamers! Anyone have ideas? thank you love & light to all
Maybe here..... http://www.serenityoaksvillage.org/ They are Hip forum members too and post here occasionally.
Hey there, magnolia. I'm the farmer at Serenity Oaks. We would love to have more here. You should check out our website and, if you like it, shoot us an email.
thanks for the link, Tyrsonwood Rutz - I've looked at the site & have many questions. Have you started the farm there yet? Also, we could use a WWOOFer on our farm in Oregon this summer! What-cha doin'? love & light :daisy:
I'm preparing the ground now. As for what I will be doing this summer, I will be farming at Serenity Oaks. For I am the Serenity Oaks farmer.:2thumbsup:
Sweet! we started our farm from scratch 3 years ago - good luck! I'll email with other questions. :2thumbsup:
have you found what you were looking for ? or would you consider northern BC? definitely 4 seasons, definitely mountains, but some summers have lots of rain too!
My wife and I have 20 acres in NE Washington state we are turning into an organic farm/community. We get a solid 4 seasons here, and are in the mountains at about 1700 foot level. Drop me an email if you are still looking.
yep it seems to have expired.. How many are you and how old and share some more about you so people here can know to ask you to come to them. I seek someone at my farm but i am not interested in pot or ciggs or drugs but some alcohol once in a while is legal..
I was also going to ask them about BC. But not northern BC. Incredible landbase, but long winters. But around the Kootenays would be perfect. 4 true seasons for sure. (Oh haha. Just realized how old this thread originally was.)
