Favorite British Invasion Band

Who's ur fav?

Well....it's no suprise mine is The Beatles...

Yeah, mine's the Beatles, too, but there are some others that I really love as well... for example: Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, The Animals, Cream, The Kinks, The Hollies, Herman's Hermits, The Zombies, The Small Faces, etc.

I'd have to go with THE BEATLES as well Tippy!!!!!!

 

This summer I'm travelling thousands of miles just to see The Stones. So, I'm going to to say it's them. Though, I don't know....don't make me choose!

Led Zeppelin is the best Brithish band bar none. Even though they were a tap late on the whole invasion thing.

 

The Who and The Beatles hands down

 

Well, Black Sabbath if you count them in the British Invasion. If not, the Yardbirds!

 

well my favorite brit bands would be sabbath and floyd but i don't call them invasion bands so it would be either the beatles or the who.

Oh, wow. This is a tough decision! I would have to choose The Yardbirds as my favorite British INVASION band. For British Bands in general, Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin are my favorites, although 99.9% of the bands I listen to are British.

The Yardbirds always put me in a great mood, I like to listen to their more upbeat stuff to start my day sometimes.

 

Gerry and the pacemakers had a good sound, Dave Clark 5 had some hits, then there was groups like Freddy and the Dreamers, Yardbirds kicked ass.
The US scene started putting out some great music. The Doors, Hendrix, The Byrds, Buffalo Springfield and all the other folks that brought it all to Woodstock a few years later.
Glad I was living through that era.......

The Beatles were more than just a band they defined an era and a genre of music.

 

THE BEATLES!!! And also The Kinks, The yardbirds, The Animals and The who.

 

^^ i'd agree with all of those. they are all great. the beatles are obviously the ebst but the kinks are in my mind a close second.

 

ones I have to add to the list: The Zombies , The Troggs , The Moody Blues , and last but not less The Hollies

 

mine would have to be The Who, Beatles, and the Stones
