I like to take a plastic water bottle, drive a needle down through the cap "into the bottle', make a hole to take a hit and carb hole in the side of the bottle a few inches lower than the needle tip....... then unscrew the cap, roll product into a long spaghetti like piece, stick the spaghetti piece onto the needle, light it for a few seconds to get a cherry going, then blow the flame and put the cap back on the bottle. now the has spaghetti piece burns and fills the bottle with smoke constantly, you just have to use the carb and hit holes..... the stick keeps burning slowly until it reaches the needle and you don't lose any smoke! I've even talked to some people from egypt who prefer this method!!!!
yeah it rocks....just remember you may want to leave a tiny bit of water in the bottom of the bottle in case the spaghetti piece falls off the needle while lit. If you don't leave the water in the bottom the cherry from the spaghetti piece will burn right through the bottom of the plastic bottle if it falls off.

i'd go with a glass bong with a glass screen, pack one bong hit worth at a time and burn it completely if your going for maximum potency. The bottle trick is cool though because it stays lit and contained.....especially good for smoking hash with a group of people
i like the needle technique. we used to stick a needle trough a book, so it would stand up. then catch th smoke in a glass, and hit it with a straw
Original Jamaican Chalice is great for smoking Hash, or Bong, i don't smoke Joints with Hash, it is a waste. My most favourite way is Bong, i have a 30 cm Glass Bong, "Pancer glass" means 5 mm thick glass, metal chillum.
to the OP:That's an excellent fucking idea. Using a 2-liter would probably work better. insert a 4 or 5 inch needle, leave ~.3 in outside of the cap. heat cap so it makes a seal. Add a thumbtack to the top, then quick-drying clay or something similar so it can take pressure outward. Only poke one hole, near the bottom. Take the needle out, add 2g of good hash. re-insert after lighting. Place finger over hole until pressure against finger is felt. put mouth over finger and hole, and move finger. Kind of like a hash shotgun
yeah that big version would be good but you better have a big group and a lot of product. I'm telling you, 1/2 a gram in the water bottle is too much for one person to handle non stop. Its just a constant production of smoke and you'd have to toke like a mad person to keep your pace to the point where it wouldn't get stale.
I just had an even worse idea. What about filling the bottle with nitrous? and then adding the smoke? That's be pretty badass. Well, to be more specific, twist the end of the balloon. hold it to the carb. allow a hit to fill the bottle (of hash), then untwist the balloon. you'd get serously fucked.

one thing i forgot to point out though is that you don't run the needle through the whole spaghetti piece of hash. Once the burning hash piece reaches the needle it goes out actually. So you only put the needle into it a bit.....just enough to support the piece so that it doesn't fall off. so a bigger needle wouldn't really hold a bigger piece of hash per say
