Well, what I am aiming at is, who is your favorite hippy?
This can include from movies, books, television, or even artists.
Some examples would be Bob Dylan, Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong, Stephen Hyde :p, etc.
There are just so many of them out there. To start off, mine would probably be Slater. He's a brotha.

    Abbie Hoffman, YIPPIE PARTY!!!

I still think they should have turned the Woodstock peeps, into the Revolutionary Army.. Maybe then something would have happened..

I've never really thought of Hyde as a hippie. More of a punk but without the look. Mine is probably Leo from That 70s Show though. :)

Ah, Abbie Hoffman was an amazing man!
I did a school project on him in the ninth grade, got in trouble for putting the word fuck in my essay because he got arrested for having that written on his forhead.

That man was a true revolutionary :)

man, I would give anything to find a man like Hyde.....

I would have to say Hunter S Thompson, Jerry Garcia, Bob Weir, all the Merry Pranksters whoa why did my computer start typing like that...anyways. Ken Kesey Jack Kerouac although he was more like the alcoholic grandfather of the hippie movement. William Blake was the O.G. of hippies doing mescaline 1800s stylee. Neal Cassady, he was part of the beats but definitely still a hippie, he drove the bus after all. Abby Hoffman is awesome.

oh also henry david thoreau and ralph waldo emerson. Their naturalism embodies the hippy movement way more than a bunch of kids dropping acid.

hunter s thompson is my favorite of all though.

i wish i knew why my computer started typing like this.
