Favorite quote, song and show for Grateful Dead and Phish

So lets were it what are your favorite quotes, songs and shows by phish and the GD. add a solo in there as well.

I Honesly cant awsner my own question right now. Pnch you in the eye, divided sky, run like an antalope, you enjoy myself, jack straw, friend of the devil, dark star, Idk man the list goes on. Im gonna meditate and then try to figure out some awsners to these meticulous questions. So what are your favorites?

GD-only know ther studio stuff. friend of the devil, box of rain, uncle johns band.

 

Phish song - YEM, Divided Sky, Curtain With, or Harry Hood.
Phish show - My favorite changes as I acquire more and more shows. (Sadly never attended one 'cept for the Coventry simulcasts, but... yeah.) 6/5/90 has been it for me for a few weeks though.

Dead song - Dark Star, Scarlet Begonias, Franklin's Tower, St Stephen > Eleven.
Dead show - As with Phish, this changes (and I never attended one). 2/18/71, 8/6/71, 6/10/73, 5/8/77... these are all favorites of mine.

song- DAkrstar > st. steven or scarlet> fire on the mountain. I think the best scarlet> fire jam i have heard is 2/3/78. The best dark star> st steven jam has the otherone and uncle johns band between dark stars on 11/8/69. I have never heard a bad jam of those. But all their songs really rocks.
show- currently been listening to 5/14/74. 11/8/69 is probbaly my all time favorite. Its just so creative and psychidelc.

Phish
Song- Been listening to slave to the traffic light and cities a lot. I love free, divided sky, lizards, miks song, reba. idk man I think I love them all.
Show- 11/19/92 is what i have been listening to a lot lalty. Theres all good though.

 

the best dead show I ever attended was the last one I saw, AND THAT HAS ALWAYS BEEN TRUE from number2-number 27. the latest was July 27 2004.

my favorite song changes very often but usually is china rider or scarlet fire.

 

i just dont understand how these bands can have so many great songs. It just blows my mind.

idk what my favorite shows are right now, but my favorite quote from the GD would have to be "Once in a while you get shown the light, in the strangest of places if you look at it right."(scarlet begonias) i get a lot out of it.
