Well my absolutely favourite comedian was British Bernard Manning.
O.K. Blue.
O.K. Racist.
But he was still a cracker.
It was all meant in just very good fun, as he was just taking the piss out of everything and everyone!

Not many female comedians really do it for me, but I enjoyed HER standup!

 

He’s so right!!!

 

She’s hilarious....AND HOT!!!

 

I know! So many have have a monotone voice and no expression, I can't stand it! Even if the material is good it won't matter without the proper delivery.

 

I wonder if the whole monotone thing is that they (female comedians) are trying to sound “manly” in their delivery but with female appeal? Almost as if they think they need to do it to capture and maintain the audience while competing against male comedians. Does that make any sense?

 

Could be, I often see them explaining the way they speak as their normal everyday voice but I find that hard to believe.
