NY, Cape Cod, Hawaii...and as you say, the beautiful nature in any state.....in any country, as well.... The museums I have gone to....but that is anywhere, too.
that is the best thing to me...there are many great things from many great countries. its not only germany (sorry to break the news to you) graham bell was from Scotland...joseph pulitzer was from hungary...more sports stars than i can list here were from all over the world and ended up staying in the states...ervin berlin was (gasp) not from berlin but from russia...not to mention a ridiculous amount of famous actors and musicians all decided to make america their home.
Why is the US the only nation to have put men on the moon, and why hasn't anyone gone back? I met someone recently who is a professional photographer and was into photography around that time, and he reckons they didn't have the camera technology to take the shots allegedly from the moon in those days. An apparently lucid and sensible person otherwise... He also thinks the towers in the WTC came down because of the amount of aluminium in the planes. Just saying, I don't know really. It is a big question though, if there was a race to be the first country to put men on the moon then why didn't any other nation follow up with their own moon landings, and why haven't we gone back in 40 years?
