with all the comedy festivals that have been going on lately has anyone gone to see any good comedians? i saw ross nobles show it was so freekin funny, he has to be one of the greatest comedians around. did anyone listen to when he did that show on triple j earlier this year? man i wish it was still on!danny boy and arj barker are pretty good. i hope merrick and rosso do another season of live and unplanned i wish they went back to triple j too!
i think Dave Hughes is great, when he is on the glass house. I also think there are some good American comedians, Chris Rock is really witty.
I like Will Anderson from the Glasshouse. I like reading his Sunday Roast page in the Sunday telegraph magazine.
Yep, I'm a big fan of Wil Anderson too. He's funny & yummy.. great combination! Love the glass house, it cracks me up every time. Carl Barron also cracks me up, he's great. Saw him live once, and I laughed the whole way through..
Lewis Black or Dave Attel. I have seen alot of good ones on Comedy Central, but I cant remeber their names!
Carl Baron is hilarious because what he says is the truth. For instance, his joke about how woman always get on tippy toes to put their knickers from their butt Wil Anderson is annoying with his nail polish but Dave Hughes makes that show. He reminds me of Elliott Goblett. You know, that comedian guy who tries to keep a straight face when he does his routine. I love it when he can't help but smile a little. Robin Williams and Jim Carrey. Although known as actors they have comic history and the way they can improvise for ages, just keep coming up with joke after joke is amazing. And tiring to watch. Carrey is more physical with his comedy in movies but it's a unique ability they have. Joan Rivers is the funniest chick along with Ellen Degeneres. They have a natural talent for comedy without having to have a whle bunch of lines to remember or cues.
I love carl baron too, but i am such a sucker for Akmars middle eastern accent and that self deprecating humour. I felt so stupid for missing his last tour
Is Amkar that dude from the mummy? If so I love him too, especially when he randomly changes into his own accent. Though I think some audiences get a bit too PC and dont know hwether to laugh or not. Yeah carl Baron is hilarious, Paul McDermot was good back in the day, so were Merrick and Rosso in their JJJ afternoon heyday. They suck now though.
Paul McDermot is so annoying with his almost robotic hand jestures all the time. Also, he thinks he can sing but he can't. Merrick and Rosso were funnier on channel 9, their 10 show was crap and don't bet on seeing that again. I wish Joan Rivers was out here for a show or Ellen. Channel 10 is promoting their new daytime line up which apparently includes Ellen.
nah, hes not that famous. Hes the guy from "Cant stop the murders". hes also on rove and JJJ a lot does anybody miss chris and craig, and adam and will from JJJ? Its lost its zing for me
