yeah FEMA has 20 truck loads of water and 500.000 MRE's "ready to go" (as soon as they tell you where to go.) in those 25 distribution areas..

umm,,theres 13 million people in the affected area.. you do the math..

yeah i know,a lot of folks will not need assistance, its a good thing. that will only feed 150,000 people for one day....

FEMA is only good for suspending people's rights and forcibly putting them in detention camps. If it all goes wrong (for the people) again, like it did with Katrina, they will use it to receive even more funding, just like after Katrina.

this is houston. its going to be VERY interesting to see how the situation pans out.. at least 2 weeks without power is going to bring out the worst in many and thats the 4th largest city in america..

FEMA may wind up getting to practice there martial law game..

i was kinda surprised to here they have taken over cell phone communications..

Anyone who relies on FEMA or any government agency to rescue them is a fool.

It is not the governments job to save anyone.

However, I agree that FEMA is a very dangerous agency run by a very dangerous government.

FEMA has been set up and geared for guns and control I think they tried to change a lot after Katrina and try to appear more helpful and compassionate.

But it is an Government agency they are all slow completed and have so many channels..

I have known a few people who worked for the government just to do the simplest things they would have to go through all these channels and process.
If their was a board with a nail sticking out of it on the job site they couldn't just move it, they would have to call a board management person to figure out what to do with it then call a carpenter to come and move it.
So they spend 5 hours to deal with one board that could have been moved in 30 seconds.

But they can have a small army of thugs armed to the teeth surround a group of unarmed kids in less then 10 minutes.

well i tell you what, they are getting SLAMMED by local officials.. a rural county,,chambers county was just on saying they were promised food and water, there rescuers have received nothing and they are out or nearly out of food and water..

thats the problem with this 72 hours of food thing they push. theres always folks who dont put food back.
therefore those that do run out long before the 72 hours is up..

FEMA should not promise immediate response to these first responders and then drag there heels.. its bullshit IMO..

You guys are sounding surprised. They should put FEMA under DHS. Shit might get done. At the expense of civil rights, of course...

^^Ahh.. Nothing is certain except for uncertainty just an ever changing pattern of evolution. It all just a game in the end and only love is real.

OK I better stop before I get kicked out and sent to the philosophy section.
