Female Gnomes. Beard or No Beard?

So we all know Gnomes, but Ive never seen a female gnome, and more importantly does a female gnome have a beard?

After marriage, her hair disappears under a scarf and darker cap..when 350 years or older she begins to show a light beard....she usually only stays at home and doesn’t wander about

Sounds like Tolkien's dwarves... the females have beirds, and it's hard to distinguish them from males. Of course, that's fiction. Aherm.

as a gnome collector, i will say that female gnomes traditionally do not have beards.

I collect gnomes as well...I have yet to see a bearded female, but I think it would be pretty cool if I could find one.
