I've actually met very few feminists who are like that (which isn't a statement on how common they are, which I don't know, but how good I am at avoiding such people!).

IMO, man-haters have very little justifiable ground to stand on -- feminism as I understand it is about establishing some gender equality, not about oppressing the oppressor, not about becoming the very thing you're rallying against.

I don't recall any regular posters here who are like that...

It's not that one freak did it - it's that it was allowed to happen and that it was supported.
