To start things off i have read almost everything i can about growing MJ outdoors but just wanted some direct answers. Its my first grow and im about 3-4 weeks (cant remember exactly when i planted) They are about 4 inches high all 30 or so of them except a few who are about 3 inches.

I just had a few questions. Is it possible to get a good harvest with a minimal amount of fertilizers? If it is 100% essential for a good harvest, when should i start fertilizing? I'm 17 years old and live with my parents so its kinda hard to get ferts to my grow site without drawing attention from them even though im very sneaky hah. Whats a good fertilizer that is fairly easy to get in my situation? Right now im using composted wood chips which i packed around each plant about an inch thick basically mulch hah.

Thats all the questions i can think of but any other advice at all would be a great help! Thanks!

Alright, u should honestly focus more on your soil mixture, because if you suck at feeding and you have good soil, then you will at least get mediocre turn out. Wood chips, eh, use straw, you can use what you want, but straw is one of my choices. And u need to decide if you are going chemical or organic

used 10-10-10 fertilize if you go that way put about 5 inches from plant cover it up do not use much at first cause it can burn them up after they get bigger you can use more then .......now if they in a seed bed forget above statement the above advice is only for plants that are in heel by them self also they some stuff out like miracle grow but it called peters really good to spray on them ever once and awhile be sure to keep plent dirty piled up around plants will make them grow much better.....if you need more advice post i will check forum along or someone can help you out i don't know anything about growing it inside but outside i can hold my own with anyone :)
