Next weekend ill be going to comfest in Columbus , Ohio and when I went last year there were people everywhere with back packs obviously selling I was wondering, if I were to get acid at the festival is there anyway to make sure its not fake? Also, is there any kind of etiquette to going up to a random person and asking for some acid?
To make sure it's not fake, you're just gonna have to guinea pig it. LSD will glow under a black light, but I'd assume that other tryptamines and phenethylamines will as well, so that's not very reliable. As far as etiquette, just walk up and ask for some doses. Something like "What's up, man? Who's got all the L?" should work. It shouldn't be a problem, though. Most festivals I've been to, people are running around screaming what they have. If you get really fed up, I've found that it works to wait till nightfall, go to one of the headlining bands' shows and just scream "Who's got some acid?" I tried that with mushrooms and had 3 guys come right up to me.
Waiting for people to yell works, but IME, you don't get good deals on quality stuff from people yelling.

Well yea I guess it also depends on the festival really. The best acid I ever ate was from a couple at the Philly Folk Fest, they just walked right up to me, gave me a hug, and asked if I wanted either Molly, Liquid straight, or paper. I took the paper on his suggestion God bless ~
Look for 'Shakedown Street'. At almost every festivsl there is kind of a main drag or area that people hang out at and sell shit. There will be a path from tent city to the music, from tent city to the food, or something like that. You'll see a bunch of people doing more standing around than walking. Good luck.
tip your dealer 10% 20% is classy just kidding. if its a festival on public property, or a "big" festival dont trust anyone over 30. if its a small festival on privet property you wont have a problem finding, buying, or holding.

Yes I completely agree. My lsd guy is over 30, I trust him, and his hits are always very potent. Itls still just a good rule of thumb not to trust anyone over 30 dealing in the open... When im at a festival i want to stay there and not in jail.... Maybe i just watch too many episoads of COPS.
No I agree with that take on it. No need to take chances. The nice thing is, an under cover at a show is almost never interested in a guy buying small amounts of weed, shrooms, etc. Unless you're actually working the lot, you should be good.
True. Ive only ever had one run-in with an undercover. I told him I did'nt want anything, but the people I was sitting next to bought off of him and they were arrested on the spot. They must of been too wasted to realize his wristband said security... oh and he was over 30. haha.
Shrooms and E in Live Oak, FL. At the Spirit of Swanee camping and festival grounds. They host several festivals through out the year and they are always strict on drugs. Which I think is a good thing and a bad thing. It keeps people away who are only there to bring the scene down, but the multiple arrests bring the vibe down also. 70 of 1000 people were arrested in the 3 days I was there. Its a great venue to see music, if that the only reason your there, but if you have any "other motive" then Spirit of Swanee is not the place to go.
Thats pretty scary. It would kill me to get busted at a festie. Usually when I buy doses at shows it'll be people chillin' outside of their tent in chairs so you know their at home base. Also long hair or dreads are a good sign that it's not an undercover.
Look at the shoes, thats a good way to tell if its an undercover. No wook is gonna have nice clean shoes.
