ok, get familiar. heres the low down; you are alone in a vast wilderness. five hundred miles separates you from any signs of human establishment. at night in the dense forest you hear something that makes the hair on the back of your neck spike to attention...a blood curdling sound in a deep low pitch. the earth grumbles and vibrates followed by an array of colorful lights, illuminating the canopy above in a faint glow.... consider this imagery in your head. you have no idea what this could be. ufo, government, bad lcd trip or whatever it might be. would you run like hell or go ahead for a closer look? fight or flight? what's your response to situations that require action?
if I am tripping on an LCD I can probably just stand up....... that being said, I suck at running, so, fight.
well in the said case, the only thing you can control is your curiosity and level of stress and how to manage the two. i think id run to a safer distance...then check it out cautiously.
Fight(investigate)! I don't think I could out run a UFO plus I don't think I could give up the slight chance that I could make contact with a intelligent species that don't call Earth home could you imagine what they toke?! Probably could add a few points to your IQ.
hahah, that's why you'll make a great butter bar. you are open to the idea of smoking out with other intelligent species from out of this world. lol id say to them, if in fact it was a ufo, 'beam me up Scottie.'
as a general question, it depends on the situation. in this case, i would probably slink away as quietly as possible and watch from behind a distant tree until i got a better feel for the situation. but really, it seems unlikely that approaching this thing could benefit me in any way, so i would be very unlikely to actually show myself in this particular situation.
If they woke me up, the aliens better be huge. I would fight. I woke up this morning wanting to kill me an alien.
