finally got some damn health insurance

sent in my paperwork back a while ago, at least 12 weeks. finally i got a letter notifying me that i am covered again. pain in the ass.

now i gotta wait till they send me some info on choosing a doctor and a packet about what benefits i get.

its weird for me to think about needin health coverage..i cant imagine gettin a bill from a doctor or hospital....how much would it cost to visit a doctor for something like a flu complaint

 

More than I would ever be willing to pay....but I don't want nationalized health care. I can wait and pay for it myself when I get a job.

God forbid our government keeps fucking things up. They don't have the greatest track record and I hate that the government is sticking it's fingers in everything as is.

You can preach to me about being poor and I'll tell you to kiss my ass. I grew up dirt poor. Many of my clothes previously belonged to my cousins. Before my dad moved back in, my mom worked two jobs and went to school. We sometimes only had 1 can of corn for dinner and that had to last two days. My parents worked their asses off and now live a decent life so you can fuck off with your hand out bullshit.

If less people had a "gimme gimme" attitude and were willing to work and BUDGET then things wouldn't be the way they are now.

Well I typed "our government" meaning the way it is and has been and yes you are right. It's a shame really.

 

the military typically uses batteries from one of three contractors that have former government officials on their boards of directors.

not the companies that come up with the best batteries

the ones that have the best connections.

that is how out government works, be it batteries, programs, whatever.

if you know what the lowest bid is, you can come in just under it, cut corners, imbezzle government funds into other projects, and get more business by having the "lowest prices" subsidized by the taxpayer...

or just go over budget.
