I hope to find everyone doing well. I am brand new here and am actually trying more and more to find peace within. I've recently started enjoying more of nature and the simplier things in life. I have one good friend that trully understands me. We have had many a colorful weekend over the summer. I would love to get to know others better. I'm from Virginia, orginially born in Missouri. I just turned 25 today and have went through some big changes in my life over the past summer. Others have recognized the growth and changes that I have been going through. They have definetly been for the better. I hope others can relate and help me gain more peace within myself and with others.

Welcome to the forum. I know where you're at. Definiately hold on to that special friend, they are very few and far between.
Happy Birthday MissMyra, The search for self-identity is a process that can take a lifetime. Take life’s lessons as they come and learn from them. Take time to smell the flowers, slow down, because before you know, it has all slipped away and you’re left wanting. You will regret more the things that you didn’t do than the things that you did. Open up your mind and heart and listen, when the time is right, all things will present themselves. It’s not the destination; it’s the journey. Let me extend the welcome mat. I recently found "The Hip Forums" myself and I know what it’s like to be a newcomer. You don’t really know what to say or how to act. Read some of the threads so you can get the gist of what topics are being discussed. When you feel comfortable jump right in and get your feet wet. Nobody here is going to "Flame" you, that just isn’t tolerated here (unless it’s necessary) lol. We get some assholes here who just want to stir up bad vibes... From what I’ve found so far is that we are one big family with many brothers and sisters. Once again the doors open come on in, open up your heart and mind, put on some groovy tunes, kick back and stay awhile. Peace & Love, DDR Quote: William Butler Yeats "From our birthday, until we die, Is but the winking of an eye."
Wow, how odd... I normally don't stop by this forum... I'm currently in VA for grad school and am from MO -- grew up in St. Louis and went to college in Columbia. Whereabouts are you from?l Happy Birthday, by the way!
Well, you guys all sound so great. I love the positive attitudes and such. I don't like being around people that give off bad vibes or try to make bad vibes. I will definetly hold on to my dear friend, whom I adore. I was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and actually moved to Texas before I was 1 year old. We moved many times in my life, although I don't remember much. I currently live in Northern VA, closer to WVA. I've just recently gotten the feeling that I would love to pack up and move. Don't know where, I just want a change. Anyone else ever feel that way? Oh, and thanks for all the birthday wishes. You guys are great.
