Finding stuff at music events?

How likely is it that you would be offered stuff at musical events? Concerts or festivals. Such as Lollapalooza and other stuff like a shpongle concert which I've seen on here? Whats the likeliness and what kind of stuff would you probably find? Also what festivals are usually good place to find them? I'd love to hear some of your stories too.

 

not hard to find stuff when most ppl shout out whatever it is they have lol.. Ive learned not to buy from these ppl, but to ask those who show signs they are on whatver drug youre trying to find. Like if i wanted lsd, id look for the dude wandering aimlessly staring at shit with his huge pupils lol. Or, if youre in the middle of the crowd at a show, look up and scream whatver drug you want, they will find you.. lol

extremely likely. my friend came back from the Gathering last year still tripping on acid. I heard they have everything you would want at the Gathering, from shrooms to acid to kick ass bud. I heard there's a lot of shit at dubstep shows too.

 

What you may find at a show of festie really depends on the scene.

 

What do you need to trade though?

 

^^ dude, just bring a ton of cash and you will be able to get anything... you might be able to trade weird shit, but if you're set on wanting to get something, bring cash and you'll be hooked up.

Know what you're looking for, and get a good idea of what a good price is before you go tho, you don't want to be ripped off.

 

ehhh i wouldnt wave a 'ton' of cash around too openly, there are ppl out there who will rip off a 'strip' of paper from their festival brochure and pass it off as 'acid'..

 

^^ Yeah, listen to Smokin OP, My intention was just have the money with you, but when your looking for deals, don't mention what you have, work with the drug, not the money.

 

One thing that would work well is bringing two wallets with you, i do that a lot, one you'll have much less in (I do that whenever I go downtown). If a guy see's you only have 30 bucks, and he was asking for 40, sometimes he'll cut you a deal. And on the other hand, if he/she's talking with you and sees you flipping through a wad of cash, they'd be foolish not to take advantage of it. So be careful, and know what you're looking for.

 

The advice I give typically to first time festival goers (festi virgins if you will). You typically don't want to buy from the first guy you run into. However on the other side of that same coin; the time to buy good product is when you see it.
Also if it walks like a duck and talks like a duck it's probably a duck. Meaning if the shrooms bruise blue and the buds are frosty and stanky he's the guy you're gonna wanna pick up from.
Some things that are considered rude impolite or just plain annoying to lot workers:
Asking if their shit is bunk. Do you really expect an honest answer about this from someone who's trying to rip you off?
Asking 5 minutes worth of questions intelligent questions or not and then not buying.
Wasting their time with small talk when there's thousands of other people they could be talking to.
Acting very interested asking some good questions and then closing with something to the effect of "Sorry man I'm broke". Curiosity killed the cat. don't waste the lot worker's time. again, there are thousands of other customers that they're looking to talk to.

Some basic etiquette when picking up:
KEEP IT ON THE DOWN LOW! This has to be my biggest pet peeve by far. Do not ever under any circumstance whip out your wallet in plain view of the path and start counting out your drug money. Always offer to go inside your tent or a friend's tent near by. At the very least get low and behind something.

Some common scams I've seen:

Always be wary of the psychedelics from the man who has the bomb opium. Sure his opium is good but It's also a trading tool for those who he has ripped off with bad sheets and shrooms IE: "Sorry about those bunk shrooms I just grabbed it from some guy on the lot thinking it would be good. Heres a free gram of opium to make up for it. Oh by the way, I've got some really good L you should check out since I made good on those bunk shrooms with some more opium."
BOOM you just bought an empty half sheet of pretty blotter art and you're probably so sedated on opium by then that he'll run circle around you the rest of the day and leave by night fall with 20 Gs in his pocket. I've seen more than one con artist get away with shit just like that.

Bunk sheets are VERY easy to come by. If you're going to buy more than just a ten strip and you're not picking up from someone you know. Just grab one hit to test before you grab anything else. Even if all you're friends swear up and down that the green bicycle blotter is the bomb. If it's from a different guy than who they got it from don't buy more than you're willing to lose until you've tested a piece. Here's why: 9 times out of ten there is empty sheets of blotter art for sale from the legit vendors on the lot. Scammers can buy these empty sheets and match them to the exact sheet that your friends saw earlier and are tripping face on right now. If you're legitimately interested in grabbing a bulk amount and the lot worker you're talking to believes it he might give you a test piece for free so that he'll be sure you'll come back to him to grab when you're done shopping around. After all whats A $3-$4 hit compared to making $100-$200 off unloading a sheet.

Counterfeit bills are pretty big on the lot at some festis. They're usually awful fakes that are hard to pass off in the real world. However if you're tripping or rolling or whatever it may be very difficult to tell the difference. Keep in mind it is a crime in and of itself to possess counterfeit money. For this reason I don't handle business while tripping if I can help it and I check anything $50 bill or larger.

Also some basic advice. If the blotter paper is bigger than 1/4" by 1/4" DO NOT BUY IT. It's probably not LSD. It's probably some other chemical that can't be active on a quarter inch by quarter inch piece of paper. the most that can fit on quarter inch by quarter inch blotter is 220 mics. nothing but L is going to give you a trip at that dose.

Test your molly and your rolls. If you don't get molly tested before you do her you could get a festiD. Seriously though with how many new and different analogs of molly and just plain weird research chemicals that come out all the time do you really want to risk your body and your mind to a random white powder?

I meant more like how much do you have to trade at gatherings. Its only worth it if it's cheaper than my current source.

 

The only question is what type of concerts and festivals would have stuff such as this going on? I could think of a few ones but not many. I do know that juggalos have sogns outside their tents saying what they have XD i cant link it on my iphone but you guys should google that. Juggalos are crazy man.

 

idk man, it's one of those just go with the flow things. It's like a gamble, just go there and if you see something cheap, go for it (well and make sure it's legit.)

Then I don't have that much experience with lots of drugs, just know a good deal when you see one. Acid is about 10 bucks a hit, so if it's higher than that, understand it's a bad deal. If you're lucky enough to come across a vial tho, those will go from a wildly different range of prices, and depending on the amount of hits in it, you could do the math.

Just see what's up tho, that's the best way to handle it. And know that there is a chance you will be ripped off...
