First time barefoot!

i went barefoot for the first time today! it was so hot and sunny outside and it just felt amazing! now i really do get why you guys love it so much. i can't wait to go out barefoot again

If its important to you then it really is important.

 

Any time we hear about a "first time" going barefoot, it's important. I know I for one am ecstatic at the change in weather...although even yesterday's rainstorm didn't quell my spirit as I headed down to get the mail barefoot yesterday evening. It was truly a joy to splash in the puddles there and back again.

 

I went naked today.

 

Sure it's important. Everyone should try going barefoot outdoors. I was at the beach yesterday and the sand was very hot, almost enough to burn my feet. I like it that way. It felt like energy flowing up from my toes to my head.

 

I know I always love hearin the "first time" stories. When someone finally takes the chance and then realizes how comfortable and how much fun it is. Plus, in my opinion, people (especially girls) look their cutest barefoot. What did you do on this first experience ?

thank you guys yeah, it was a great experience! I just walked across town with my mate and she was like "you're crazy, put your shoes back on!" and i just went "no! you should try this, it feels amazing!" haha and it sure did, cause it was really hot outside.. it was just so far out

 

Hey there Sara, it's great to hear from people who finally discover the way our feet were meant to walk, and that is au naturel. The more you do it, the better it feels! Not only that, your whole body will thank you!

ah last night i stayed up late(wasn't tired) and it was pouring down outside. And when i looked out the window i suddenly wanted so badly to go outside barefoot.. feel the rain on me.. walking on the wet grass.. ah, i wish i could have done it, but i couldn't cause it was pretty late and i would have waken my parents up..
Have you guys gone barefooting in the rain?

 

Hey Sara - I do not wear shoes when it rains. I just don't. I love love walking in the water and in heavy rains. I'm the only one I know who does. That's the only reason why I like the winter - summer rains with lots of downpours and humidity - *sigh* the best!

Going barefoot in the rain (as we are forced to do here in Seattle much of the time) is one of life's pure pleasures. It's made all the more memorable for the increase in "stares" one gets from the folks who pass me by in their heavy coats, boots and umbrellas. For me, it's also a particularly practical decision. Even though I only ever wear flip flops, which can be quick to dry, I would just rather have wet feet than wet shoes!

 

It rains very little here in Tucson, so I do ever so slightly miss a rainy day, the kind I experienced back in the midwest. It definately makes a great excuse to leave the shoes and socks at home. Our monsoon season is fast approaching, so I'm eagerly anticipating walking barefoot through the warm puddles. Ahhhh! )

 

Going barefoot when it's wet outside is awesome. The best thing in life is walking barefoot on wet grass.

I am glad that you started to go barefoot. The more people do it, the more it would be publically accepted with a hell of a lot less problems.

guess what i did today? just what i said i wanted to do so badly! I went barefoot in the rain! Aren't ya proud? haha Oh my god.. it was soooo far out! It felt like heaven, really! Sadly i couldn't stay outside long cause i was walking to work... but even though it wasn't for long, it was so worth it
