First Time Communal Living/Travel

I am now actively looking to find a gay friendly group/farm/village or whatever to join. I am interested in traveling the world with like minded people like a family or just support group (i lack the balls to do so alone), not necessarily gay as I am not your typical gay. I am open to all the input you can offer. Thanks

 

I have been doing some light investigating into something like this for the past few years, an have started looking more in depth this past few months.
I have the land, and probably most of everything else a group would need to get going, but haven't been able to find guys interested. We have a small farm here in Southern Alberta, with plenty of open space for gardens, etc. and I hope to become more self sufficient in the near future.
This would be a clothing optional place, as my husband is a naturist, and I am a minimalist.

 

Also located in Alberta. I'd also love to find a queer friendly community or what have you, to gain hands on real life experience of becoming as self reliant and regenerative as possible! I'm currently taking a permaculture design course and I have a huge interest in learning about plants and food independence.

I had posted in a different thread as to what I am thinking of doing; I will repost it here.
I am hoping to form a small gay oriented community/commune/frat house/family/whatever else you may want to call it, here on our small farm. I say gay oriented because it would be preferrable to be gay, but we'd have no problem with someone who was of a different orientation. I try not to discriminate against anyone.
I hope to have something where we can all live in comfortable surroundings until much later in life.

I am currently working on plans for start up, current and future growth, type of living arrangements, etc.

As at this time, we have a small garden put in, with only a few different products. I don't have a lot of energy to put into stuff around the farm, so I haven't done a lot of the stuff that I want to do.
