first time- took low dose DXM..reactions

So I decided to go to my local right aid and buy a bottle of the robitussen gel pills with the only active ingredient being dxm. I took about 12, and I thought it felt great, kinda felt drunk and silly. It was alot of fun, although I did have alittle nausea in the beginning. Later that night I smoked a blunt before bed. But for some reason I couldn't sleep..even though I felt tired, every time I closed my eyes I'd get this weird feeling and I'd be forced to open my eyes. It was weird. It was like a feeling rushing through me, in my head and it made me feel kinda dizzy. Has anyone ever experienced this? I've experienced this before after tripping on shrooms and trying to sleep later, or when Im really high sometimes it happens..was just wondering if this sounds familiar to anyone. opinions? thx

 

ahh...you kids and your DXM.

DXM is definatly an upper. I dont even know how you would sleep on it.

 

this is normal, don't worry, its good u took the time to read up on it. taking only dxm as the active ingredient. good job. higher doses are not so silly, and can be pretty intense.

 

easy, take a bar or two and you'll knock out.
