Hi Everyone. Well I finally did what I have wanted to do for many years. Three weeks ago I visited a nudist resort for the first time. It was the most amazing experience! I was only able to spend half the day there, but it was so cool! Everyone there was so nice, and it amazed me how once everyone was naked, there was no more distinction between social classes. Everyone was there had the same common interest: socializing in the nude. I hung out poolside and talked with a couple people throughout the morning and into the afternoon, I swam and read my book. I was sad to see my day come to an end, but I had to get home because unfortunately, my wife was unaware of my little trip. I told her when I got home. She was very unhappy with me, but I couldn't help myself. I have always been a nudist inside, but I just never had the opportunity to act on my desire for nude recreation. She doesn't want me to go back, but she knows I will. I have to. No time soon though because I can't afford it right now and the summer is coming to an end anyhow. If it causes too much trouble here at home, I will avoid going, because my marriage is more important, but I think my wife will accept that I have to do this once in a while and will tolerate it. The one thing I want to say about the whole experience is that I have always been self-conscious about my body, but after being with so many other naked people and so many different body types, I was able to accept what I look like and be happy with myself. And finally, the best part of it all was that at the end of the day, I found that I had more self-confidence than I had ever had in my life! The only thing that could make my next trip better than this first one would be a friend to go along with me.
Your wife probably objects because she has the wrong idea. Only one way to fix that and it's up to you.
I agree with hardboy. maybe show your wife that you are happier when you are naked--so maybe hang around the house naked, sleep naked, etc and let her know you feel more comfortable that way. I've heard where one spouse has an issue accepting that from the other spouse, until they attend a nudist resort themselves, and see how nice and welcoming the other patrons are there and then many times, they're hooked even more than the spouse that took them there! :2thumbsup: I actually make it a point myself, to tell any one I get involved in, that I am a nudist just so they know up front and actually have never had any woman say anything derogatory about it I have always resented those who automatically equate being naked to sex; as I believe most nudists know how to separate the two, but you still get those who will believe otherwise. Its funny even growing up, nobody in my family knew I was a nudist ( I would just wait till everyone left the house ) but even with hormones raging as a teenager, I knew to keep the lifestyle separate from a sex life. Just wish more people were that way too :-/
