i had a flashback yesterday, atleast i think it was. i left campus for lunch and me and my friends stopped to rip a gravity bong a couple times. we get back and security stops us and talks forever and makes us late, so my teacher sends us to tardy hall. we get there everything is cool enjoyin my high, then like it was almost like my mind went back to like the state of mind like when i was tripping and i got like the same kind of feeling i get when im tripping in my body to and it was like a little mini tripp and it was pretty sweet lol.

has this ever happen to anyone else or is it just my mind messin with me?

I've had some mild visual flashbacks that lasted a few minutes a few times. Generally, I think they're funny.

ive had what i think were flashbacks, it happend one time when i was driving and it was sunny out, there were trees hanging over the road making shadows. driving thru it was similar to a daytime strobe light, i got that funny acid feeling too, it started in my back and took me over for a few mins.....weird.... but fun!!!!!

I meditate everyday in order to induce a flashback
you just gotta gain control over that portion of your brain thats all
its actually a very valuable portion of your brain to get under conscious control
it has alot of creative potential

In my case, what some might understand to be flashbacks are simply getting in touch with the soul and tapping the cosmic mind.
I remember when I used to have a drivers liscnece, I was pulling out of a gas station during sunset, sitting at the edge of the road waiting for the light to go. I was listening to Ravi Shankar and the drone behind the sitar became my vibrational comfort mentally, and the Sun was very dark orange almost as if it was bleeding across the sky. Anyway, I felt my mind start to wrap itself up around everything in my vision and out into the Earth including all the people, and I felt as if this is what my actual physical death is going to feel like. It was just like a time I had eaten magic mushrooms and rode in a car listening to the same album, only MUCH more intense and beautiful being sober however.

You took too much man, you took too much! Too much, too muuuuuch!!
Flashbacks are no stranger to me but I'd hate to be stuck with HPPD.
I usually get ripples in my vision (from shroom use) and I can get high and meditate with music into an acid-state of mind. I love opening the doors without using actual psychedelics, but instead using tools like marijuana which act as keys to the doors.
My worry about flashbacks is when I start grafting again. I doubt having a flashback in work when using heavy machinery will be much fun..

    yeah!

when I meditate with music, the effects are profound. but everyone I talked to said that you shouldn't be listening to anything at all. idk.

I've gotten a few visual side effects that are quite fleeting since I dropped.

Things bend briefly and return to normal just as quickly.

I think it all boils down to a matter of preference.
Everyone is entitled to explore in their own way; and if music works (as it does for me and you) then nobody has the right to tell you otherwise!

I'm not sure....I don't think I can call my feelings flashbacks...as I have them fairly often. I used to call them that. The closer to the last time I tripped the more often I get those feelings. I really at times think I'm bullshitting myself...and probably that's what a lot of people think when I share my everyday state of mind. I really believe that I can bring back that state of mind at any time I wish. And I was very delighted to read that some of you feel the same way.

Also I noticed that it's very easy to do that when I'm high or on a higher than recommended dose of diphenhydramine for sleep.
