This is freedom cove, where a couple and a few of their friends live entirely off the land :D

This was my inspiration for designing my own float community :)

oh and, they are all artists who live from selling their art :)

Oooh...nevermind, I just found your other thread. I'd still be interested to know how you're getting along though. I'm in the UK but have spent some time on and around Vancouver island, and might be coming back in the spring. Would be cool to check it out!

seems kind of weird that of all the buildings the only one you mention is the "big shower room"

haha, all the others are obvious... hmmm

I was kinda stoned when I posted it!!

the flat platform with the big red dot at the top of the pic is a helicopter pad :) where they sometimes dance :)

the large blue rectangle roof building (right of the heli pad), is a large boat house... like a garage for a boat

the big green building in the lower right is there house :)

on of the buildings is a shop where they sell their wood carvings, and their handmade carved candles.

the big rectangle platform left of the three greenhouses, was eventually built into a guest house with bunks, I believe it was all made from salvaged/reused materials, lol it only has tarp doors, but its warm there :)

    I love the greenhouses!

This reminds me of the artificial island floating on used plastic bottles.

Grows fruits/veggies, and even has livestock on his homemade Island! Self sustained, Not to mention its motorized...his goal is to build biger and bigger till its strong enough to launch to the open sea.
