After buying 'The Mars Volta's' debut album ver a year ago now I just bought their new one 'Frances The Mute'. I was wondering if anybody else liked them or has bought their new album or even if they've heard 'The Widow' - their new single - I would like to hear your opinions. Peace, Love.
AGH i can't believe i haven't heard any yet yes yes i know i should be ashamed, particularly because of my taste in music, but i have just never got around to it, i will go and buy it Jaz
Well I gave it a few listen's and it gets better every time, it's a bit confusing on how some of the tracks are seperated though. 76 minutes of pure Prog, Jazz, Funk, weird, crazy, rock stuff. I just wish I was going to see them live. Peace, Love.
I own all the Mars Voltas albums, including Tremulant. I bought Frances The Mute the day it came out over here and i was stunned. Its insane, absolutly fantastic. I stole a big Vinyl cover sized advert for the album from a Music shop and on the other side is an advert for the Widow Single, which they are only bringing out for ONE WEEK on the 14th of March as a vinyl, a cd and a dvd. the Vinyls will be numbered apparently. im buying all three. i was disappointed with the Widow video though.
