Haha, you be shitting me. You'd probably, most likely, end up regretting it and/or changing your mind.

I can tell you one thing, if they aren't partially censored during the debates, they're probably just another crock of shit.

Looks like one isn't being taken seriously, and the other isn't running. Ron Paul is really the only one that could be considered a true conservative, in my eyes, but most people don't take him seriously until Giuliani botches something or breaks out the Giuliani-isms, just like his good buddy, then he has to fill in on what Giuliani screwed up at stating.

No. :D I would rather badass Fred Thompson than have him as my president. Ho ho. I just can't take that guy seriously.

I'm all for Ron Paul, bebes. Sometimes I feel guilty for my Libertarian-leaning beliefs, but frankly, if anyone actually cares that much, they might as well blow me while they're at it, you know. Haha. :D Trade and globalized issues just suck, but my motto is to never limit my options and considerations, so that pretty much explains my stance. I think people should barter when possible, or trade goods for services and vice versa. I do that kinda stuff all the time... in fact, living out here in BFE, ten years ago before it grew up more so, we would trade ground beef for haircuts.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_positions_of_Ron_Paul

Paul advocates a strictly limited role for the federal government, low taxes, free markets, a non-interventionist foreign policy, and a return to monetary policies based on commodity-backed currency. He has earned the nickname "Dr. No" because he is a medical doctor who votes against any bill he believes violates the Constitution.[1] In the words of former Treasury Secretary William Simon, Paul is the "one exception to the Gang of 535" on Capitol Hill.[2] He has never voted to raise taxes or congressional pay and refuses to participate in the congressional pension system or take government-paid junkets.[3][2] He has consistently voted against the USA PATRIOT Act,[4] the Military Commissions Act of 2006, and the Iraq War.[5]

Before you go filling yourself up further on the workings of a "tarnished" politcal factor in a capitolist society.
I'd recommend actually reviewing the vast field of economics in a traditional sense for yourself.
It adds a better resolution of contrast, and can rienforve your eye when it's hastily searching for the next paranoia trip you seem to like sending it on.
    In all honesty.

Well anyone who votes against the Patriot Act can't be all bad. :D I like Ron Paul, myself. But I've stopped caring whether or not we go down in flames--I'm just gonna make the most of it, either way. :D Besides, change can be good...

It doesn't matter that much. I'm not graying my hair over a steaming pyle of gomer. :D If you don't want to admit we're uh... how do you say, fucked, like tears of geepsy....... then you have serious problem, Nikolai. Capitalism is fucked, but without it, we end up a nationalist imperialistic, boxed up, pile of crap. Maybe even a flaming bag. Personally, that's why I advocate bartering in all cases possible and making goods and services, rather than retail, but I'm not going to tell people to do with their shit and tell people that they should buy this or that, or rather, refrain from buying/trading this or that. That's just goes too far and is unconstitutional, for me.

As I said, if people cared so much, they might as well blow me while they're at it. They're already doing it to the current president. Let's all join in on fun, yay... who has the slip and slide... eh, EH? Fucking... pool party, deal.

    Not reallllly.

Yes I remember those days sleeping in the hollow of a varsity stadium layed in concrete, using a bagel shop in the outlet mall district to get my food where the only paper in that transaction was that of the bag in which the bagels were held. I loved honing that perspective cranking my mind with jello biafra GG and a host of others with real sturdy valiant and very youthful ideals to be upheld...

Until it hit me, and I'm not just talking about going to jail,
that economics is actually the grease which keeps the wheels spinning. I could go on a months' worth of ranting about this in less than at least two days of non stop typing...

I won't do that, what I will do tho, is say that you should be greatful for the multiplicity, diversity and contingency in life right now, even in the face of utter shit, cuz you can come out clean with a story to tell with morals to teach. Without proper facets of societies manifest, society is no more, and that would probably leave us all, less satisfied, on a very visibly consistant schedual. But hey, that's what the writers forum is for eh?
    Definately a good talk tho.

The state of the nation isn't nearly as bad as many people say it is. Crazies have been saying this country's been going to implode for the last 7 years, but we're still here

I know that.... but all the talk of the Bush administration taking away all of our liberties and throwing nonbelievers into concentration camps and taking away all of our guns and forcing religion upon the masses and martial law never came about.

And then there's that war with Iran thing, the war with Syria thing, the war with North Korea thing....

Well, saying we aren't better off than we were eight years ago isn't true either, from my point of view.

Oh I think we could've been worse off then with bush.

He does know how to keep the borders protected, and things moving forward, even if not to a perfect sentiment.

He does. All he needs is plastic surgery to form a synthetic ass on his head. Then all the loyal Bushies would think it was cool and vote for him based on a composite of A) personal morals B) How hot his daughters are, what kind of truck he drives, and the fact that he is an all-hat Texas transplant from Connecticut, rather than what condition our condition is in... I guess Fred's got that halfway down. Least he won't need to shave for the operation.

:D I felt like getting the Ann Coulter out of me.

If he actually wanted respect from the people, he would earn it... thus my diabetic aunt that died in Hurricane Katrina would probably say I don't think Boy Georgie loves us all too much. :D But Lord, when there's a old-timey jolly negro involved in a drowning, he couldn't bother to look over his shoulder. Daddy doesn't care about those guys anymore, anyway. Well, he did... he did back when he was the Director of the CIA and oversaw the CIA during the Kennedy Assasination and the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

"The president will never live down the arrogance of his final departure."
    - Sen. Jim Webb, (D)-VA

All I can say is that I hope Fearless Leader chokes on my pretzel, one day. :D
