Well, the guy is kind of annoying, but thats not the point. The point is that the US gov basicly invaded Canada to shut him down and steal his customer records.

marc emmry shouldn't be extradited to the u.s.a - I hate how u.s. authorities are so anal about marijuana, leave canada out of this fools! Marc emmery the "prince" of pot is the man! he's teh head of the marijuana party in british columvia and a true activist of the culture. ... u.s. authorities like to probe in other country's affairs way too much. I hope canada never adopts the u.s. outlook on marijuana.

 

Canada has very loose weed laws compared to U.S. Its not long before they legalize it. Thats what happened to Amsterdam, so many people were doing it, they changed the law.

 

i saw marc and some other party members at the hotbox cafe last summer....

don't know much about him except his seeds are WAAAAAAAAAAAY overpriced and i've heard of countless people getting ripped off, never receiving orders and not having them replaced.....

i dunno, but he seems like kind of a dick.

regardless, if what happened was as bad as you guys make it out to sound, i don't care if he's an asshole he shouldnt be jailed.

He also smokes out underage students, and basically acts like a fucking moron. He is hurting the cause by his actions.


Now growers that got busted because Marc got busted are getting off free if they testify against Marc.

In my opinion he is getting exactly what's coming to him. Karma is a bitch, isn't it?

This still doesn't excuse the US, and the Canadian government from what they did. I'm tired of people bitching about the USA, what about Canada? They were the ones to arrest him. Maybe Canada should grow a backbone and stop being the US's bitch. I know this is probably going to piss a few people off, but it's the truth. The US is never going to stop harassing other countries if they take it.

It just gets me when people praise Emery over and over without knowing what a douche he is. Just because he is a victim of this ridiculous government doesn't mean he deserves anyone's pity or support.

I'm using this as an example, but if some rapist was killed would you cry for the rapist? Yes, something wrong and illegal was perpetrated against him, but that in no way means he deserve your pity or support.

the only thing i had as of recent is all this attention vancouver is getting over weed, it's not helping it become legal whatsoever, i would really like to see it become legal before the 2010 Olympics

First of all, the people of Iraq already had some balls with which they stood up to the US. That is why this "war" is going on so long. Not to mention Iraq is a small country and most people are poor as dirt. This is besides the point, I'm not suggesting Canada bomb the US, just that they wake up.

Canada didn't have to follow "orders" I'm saying you should be upset at your own government as well, they have betrayed you.
