So basically you want to spy on someone?

If your that worried about how your kid uses your Internet, why not regulate it more. Better yet, put a kid filter on it. I think we have a sticky at the top of the forum. What age group are you targeting?

I have real issues about spying, especially on kids. It doesn't matter if its the parents doing it or not.

Software is not going to fix your problem. Its certainly not going to make you a better parent. What if you install spyware and catch them doing something? What then?

Why not just take those actions now and put your fears at ease?

Maybe you just need to set some aside and talk to them about the dangers of the internet. Lay down ground rules afterward. If they're broken, bye bye computer.

I'd put a password on it so they can only use it when you're around.

You're a douche bag. What your kids talk about with their friends is none of your business. Just set down rules now to prevent it happening again-or, if it's not actually happening now-in the future.

Cmon, my parents let me go anywhere on the internet I want. They know that I will probalbly be exposed to some pornography, big deal. If your child is the kind of person that you actually have to WATCH, he shouldn't get a computer. And c'mon, almost everybody, no matter of age, curses everywhere on the internet.

Ignore the fuckheads that are bashing you here. They don't really know any better.

Monitoring programs really aren't the way to go, though. Sure, you'll be able to see what they "really" do on there without them censoring out little things they might not want you to know, but it would be much more healthy to speak to them regarding what they do.

But don't become negative with them, unless you want to hurt your relationship with the kid, be accepting, as a friend and you'll have much more control than any drill sgt parent ever could.

I know you came here for monitoring software, not advice, but atleast think about it, ya know?

Are you retarded? You just called everybody in this thread except the OP a fuckhead and then said the exact same thing we've already said.

Yes, perhaps you're not familar with proper communication skills. Did I start my conversation with the OP by calling them names or straight up telling them they're wrong? No. Don't expect someone to pay any attention to you if you're going to come at them with negativity. It's obvious you have a lot to learn.

I wouldnt know any software like this and to be honest if i did i wouldnt tell... Sorry bt think about it - what happens when/if they find out? What are you gonna do and how are you gonna justify it?
Be open with them, talk to them and trust them... I know that if i could talk to my parents then they would certainly know ALOT more about my mind than from spying on my conversations with friends...

If you dont trust your child with the internet then why are you giving it to them? And once more if they do something then what are you gonna do? Tell them you've been spying? Because thats always a relationship builder ;)

No ones perfect especially not when you're young etc Chances are they will do something dangerous, question is how dangerous... And whether you want to take that chance, talk to them, spy or decide its not worth it...

Well i hope it works out with you and your child... Assuming this is your child... :)

Also, I like having the internet as a free spot where I'm not being watched. Not that I do anything bad.
