free spyware and anti virus protection

Hey does anyone know where i can download a really good and completely free spyware/anti virus protection? My laptop is new and i dont want it all fucked up.

 

download AVG, just google it

 

nothing is really free... Your online provider should have something for you..
If not mcfees, nortons.. others run about $50.00 a year for full protection. backup and recovery..
Im not really into the computer that much .. to me its a nice dvd player that I can interact with ...

 

I don't have $50 and AVG only does a scan they dont fix the spy ware. This sucks cuz now I think I have spyware cuz my computer is acting weird.

If you dont have $50.00 for (1)year, imagine $50.00 each time you need to have your pc washed, rebooted, data recovery. Each time you get a virus.

find someone who has free hacked version or smthing
i have Ad-aware (it's anti-spyware not antivirus program, but works as both, tho it finds viruses harder) part of it is for free, enough to statisfy you (if you pay u get some unneeded extras like automatic update, u can do it manually)

just google it and you will find it (download 2007 version, olders are not updated anymore)

 

worst thing to do is Google and click on to anywheres.. That computer is prolly dead already she did that..
malicious software on the internet is disguised as useful programs.

1)Spybot http://www.spybot.com/
2)avast home edition http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html (don't forget to register)
3)comodo firewall free version http://download.comodo.com/cis/download/setups/CIS_Setup_3.5.54375.427_XP_Vista_x32.exe

Update windows update AV and spyware definitions then disconnect from the internet before starting a full system scan
follow instructions on the screen and remove virus and other malware

another way to remove the pests is to do a online scan at http://www.bitdefender.com/scan8/ie.html

I run Avira and Spybot, and that has satisfied me. Another thing I do once a month is Wise Disc Cleaner and Wise Registry Cleaner. Also, and I just found this yesterday, is Advanced System Care 3. I downloaded and ran it last night and I could see the difference in speed immediately. Check it out here, highly recommended.
